The BREACHER®
The BREACHER® is required equipment for all tactical officers executing breaching or insertion operations. TheBREACHER® protective sleeves establish a new level of safety for officers; minimizing puncture or laceration injuries resulting from glass shards, door/ window edgings or other sharp objects. The protection afforded is vital during the initial penetration and/ or the “cleaning” of the “breached” area.
The unique sleeve design provides comprehensive shoulder, arm and hand protection, while allowing for full range of motion. The sleeves can we worn in conjunction with current tactical gear. Multiple layers of TWARON® are incorporated into a sectional design that allows for flexibility in key areas, while the unique articulating elbow allows for dexterity and protection. The sleeves are easy to put on, and can be secured based on an individual’s specific requirements.
More importantly, the design allows for efficient and unencumbered removal of the unit immediately following the event. The C-TACK® grip material in the palm
ensures positive contact with the breaching tool at all times. This unique material grips well in all weather conditions.
The BREACHER® has been designed and developed with the support of various tactical departments and officers to meet their specific needs. However, the sleeves can also be used for correction officers, military personnel, and other organizations requiring protection from sharp objects.
